Cesena Campus

The teaching and research centre is housed in the 25,000 m2 Villa Almerici complex amid spacious greenery and future building lots.

The campus was started in the early 1990s and has gradually gained a solid reputation in the Food Science sector.

At Villa Almerici the teachers and researchers are closely involved in international research on subjects to do with the many stages of the food chain.

The size and architectural features help create an excellent rapport between teachers and students. Lessons take place in well-appointed modern lecture rooms and laboratories. There are also areas suitable for private study and for socialising.

Close to the town, Vila Almerici is easy to reach by car and by public transport.

How to get there

By train: get off at Cesena and walk or catch a N° 21 bus. On foot from the main station exit you turn right and at the first crossroads turn right again. Go all the way down that street, under the underpass and straight over the traffic lights, until you come to the carpark in front of the Villa (about 20 minutes).

By bus: from the railway station catch the 21 bound for “Martorano”. Get off in Via Ravennate at N° 1020 outside the car dealers. Check timetables on the Atr website.

By car: Take the “Cesena Sud” exit. You immediately come to a roundabout where you take the first exit. At the next roundabout take the second exit which is Via Calcinaro. Go right the way down Via Calcinaro and at the last roundabout take the second exit. At the next roundabout, go into the Coming Centre on your left. At the far end of this on your right stands the Food Science Campus.
